It can be split into two parts: the setup and the payoff which arrives later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please bring a notebook and pen or pencil with you to the meeting, and if you can, bring a printed copy of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thethirdhouse.ca\/TheNook\/content\/handouts\/2026\/2026-09-22.pdf\">Handout<\/a>\u00a0to read and discuss at the meeting.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thethirdhouse.ca\/contact\/joyce.php\">Contact me<\/a>\u00a0if you need a password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your challenge after this meeting is over and before our next meeting on\u00a0October 13th\u00a0(following Thanksgiving)\u00a0will be to write a short story. See if you can work a\u00a0<strong>Chekov\u2019s Gun<\/strong>\u00a0into it.
